Who Am I?

Hi, I'm Gayley! I'm really glad you're here.

I'm the kind of therapist who will meet you exactly where you are. Whether you need someone to sit in the quiet heaviness with you or someone to match your energy when you're ready to move, I can do both. I aim to create a space where talking feels easy — even about the hard things.

I also believe therapy works best when it's collaborative — you're the expert on your own life, and my job is to walk alongside you, not lead you somewhere you didn't choose to go. If faith is meaningful to you, I’m happy to integrate it into our sessions. If it’s not, we’ll center our work around what feels most relevant to you.

A little more about me: I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 21 months old, which has been a consistent part of my life growing up. When I'm not in the therapy room, I enjoy cheering on the Texas Tech basketball team (Wreck ’Em!), spending time with my husband and our baby, and creating fun, meaningful moments at home. I love long walks, slower evenings, and anything that allows space to reflect and just be. I also enjoy watching Survivor and loving on every animal I meet. One day, I hope to bring a therapy dog into my practice—something I believe could bring a lot of comfort to the clients I serve.

Before We Meet…

Figuring out how to move forward after your life has turned upside down does not have to happen alone. I work with those who want to navigate their new normal, post-loss (loss of a loved one, miscarriage, career change, loss of identity). Grief is something I know firsthand. I want you to know that when you sit across from me, you're not sitting across from someone reading from a textbook. You're sitting with someone who understands what it's like to navigate life without someone who was supposed to be there. I will sit with you in it, for as long as you need.

Who I Work With
  • Adult women navigating loss — parental loss, miscarriage, and beyond

  • Anyone carrying grief — of any kind

  • Postpartum moms and mothers at all stages, including those with traumatic birth experiences

  • Pregnant women preparing for the emotional and practical transition into motherhood

  • Parents navigating the joys and hard parts of raising kids

  • Young adults who tend to isolate, avoid, and detach — in their relationships, self-image, or communication

  • Kids and teens navigating anxiety, depression, or ADHD

  • Anyone struggling with anxiety or depression who is ready to feel like themselves again

  • Individuals with ADHD who are tired of feeling like they're always one step behind

The Space I Create for You

I provide a nonjudgmental space for you to share the full extent of your emotions and experiences no matter how big or small. The goal is to allow yourself to feel – not avoid it.

I have experience working with kids and teens and am comfortable supporting them in therapy. I approach this work by meeting them where they are and focusing on building trust and a sense of safety, knowing that meaningful progress starts with connection.

How Therapy Helps

Some believe that if they suppress their thoughts and feelings, it will just go away. Our sessions focus on bringing those thoughts and feelings to the surface such as a deep wound that needs to be healed. And healing doesn’t come from a bandage alone, but by cleaning it out first.

Some of My Favorite Approaches
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Explores the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and helps you start to shift the patterns that are keeping you stuck.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Helps you stop fighting your thoughts and feelings and start building a life driven by what actually matters to you — even while hard things are still present.

  • Person-Centered Therapy: At the core of everything I do. You set the pace. You lead. I follow, reflect, and support.
