I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) every day in my sessions. Most of the people I work with feel stuck — they can explain what’s going on, they know what’s true in their head, but their body still feels anxious, heavy, or disconnected. EMDR helps bridge that gap. It helps your brain finally process experiences that didn’t fully “file away,” so they stop showing up as overthinking, emotional reactivity, or that feeling of “why can’t I just move on?”

EMDR isn’t just for trauma — it’s for anyone who’s tired of looping in old patterns, wants to feel calmer, and more connected to who they really are.

I’m EMDR Certified, which means I’ve spent years in advanced training, supervision, and hundreds of hours doing this work with clients. It’s truly one of my favorite parts of what I do.
I often introduce KAP with clients I’m already doing EMDR with, especially when we’ve reached a stuck point and need something extra to help things move again. My Approach:

EMDR Therapy

I also get to supervise other therapists who are working toward their own EMDR certification — and it’s so rewarding to watch them grow in confidence and skill with it too.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

KAP is a unique and research-backed approach that combines talk therapy with low-dose ketamine to help the brain and body access deeper healing. Ketamine gently softens the brain’s defenses and increases neuroplasticity — meaning your brain becomes more flexible and open to forming new, healthier connections. That flexibility often allows insights, emotions, and memories to surface in a way that feels less overwhelming and more accessible for processing.

I often introduce KAP with clients I’m already doing EMDR with, especially when we’ve reached a stuck point and need something extra to help things move again. Sometimes I also recommend KAP with new clients who have done a lot of therapy in the past but still haven’t found the lasting relief they’re looking for.

I combine EMDR and KAP together because they complement each other so beautifully — KAP helps the brain’s synapses grow, and EMDR helps those new pathways “wire and fire” in ways that support emotional regulation, integration, and long-term healing.

I partner with Journey Clinical, a medical team that specializes in prescribing and monitoring ketamine for therapeutic use, so the process is always safe and medically supported.

This work is a true commitment — and one that can be life-changing. Typically, clients come twice a week for 6–8 weeks: one 2-hour KAP session and one EMDR session each week. It’s an intensive process, but when you’re ready, it can open doors to healing that have felt locked for a long time.
